Sadly enough, we had to say goodbye bright and early to Momma and Poppa Dolby. Their short stay has been nothing short of wonderful. We've enjoyed so much having them around, we even tried to convince them to stay longer... No such luck, though. Boo! But honestly, before we know it, we'll be home with them, so we'll just have to appreciate the time we had to live it up from here on out.
After seeing them drive off, Dolby and I took advantage of their cottage for the last few hours. Luckily for us, Mike told us last night that we could "check out" later in the afternoon since no guests would be checking in later today. So we jumped into the 2 comfy beds, enjoyed a few hours in some air conditioned, and then took nice, long, hot, REAL, showers! There's just something about taking a "real" shower v.s. one in the cockpit with a solar shower that is so wonderful.

| Dish washing/drying on GM |
We made our way back to GM later in the afternoon, where we took the day to do absolutely nothing for a while. I updated the blog a bit, Dolby sat out in the sunshine, and we just took in not having any plans. Although we LOVED having guests, it's way different than the daily lifestyle of nothingness!

Eventually, around 2:00, we went ashore and walked to a marine supply store so Dolby could get a new spear, since his escaped with an Amber Jack a few days ago in the Exumas. That was a relief, since we weren't sure where we would be able to get a new spear. And JACKPOT! Seafair Marine helped us out, for sure! But on the flip-side, we are pretty lucky (according to MANY locals) that the jack swam off with our spear. Apparently ALL jack out here have traces of cigitera, and we would've enjoyed him for dinner... but then later we would've paid the price for it. No thank you!!!!

After spear-finding, we made a quick stop at the grocery store and then Long Island Breeze. We talked to Mike for a bit, had a beer, and worked our way back out to Great Mysterious. Late afternoon/early evening has been spent just the way this afternoon was... total relaxation. I mean, that's what the island life is all about, isn't it... 'mon?!?!
